The Independent Investigation Committee, constituted to examine allegations of misconduct raised by Ms. Jahanara, concluded its inquiry on 31 January and formally submitted its report to the Bangladesh Cricket Board today (Monday, 2 February 2026). Committee Chairman Justice Tariq ul Hakim, along with members Barrister Muhammed Mustafizur Rahman Khan, Barrister Sarwat Siraj Shukla, Rubaba Dowla, Director, BCB, formally handed over the findings to BCB President Md Aminul Islam in presence of other Board members . Committee member Prof.Dr. Naima Huq, who is currently travelling, was unable to attend.
